Enhancing Individual Therapy with Systemic Thinking
Strengthen your individual therapy practice with a systemic lens!
This training is for therapists who work primarily with individuals but want to deepen their practice by integrating systemic thinking. Clients don’t exist in a vacuum—understanding their relational patterns, family dynamics, and broader systems can lead to more effective interventions. This training provides a hands-on approach to applying systemic models in individual therapy, helping you refine case conceptualization, uncover hidden influences, and create more sustainable change for your clients.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Explain the benefits of applying systemic concepts in individual therapy.
Identify and utilize eight core systemic principles to enhance individual case conceptualization.
Conceptualize an individual case from a systemic perspective and apply systemic interventions through role play.
Improve therapy outcomes by recognizing and addressing relational and contextual influences in individual work.
